Biography

Andy is a native of Strathspey, where his childhood and youth were spent roaming moorland glens, forests and hills.

Andy's outlook on life reflects his Highland upbringing and much of his inspiration is drawn from the highland landscape, the natural world and Celtic myth.

He has participated in a growing number of poetry-reading events and has also been interviewed and read some of his poems on local radio.

Book Launch
Andy will launch his new collection at the clubhouse of Forres Golf Club​ on the evening of Saturday 2nd March, 2019. All welcome, free event, details to follow.

Now available
'Within the Slide of Wind', the new collection, published by Indigo Dreams. Unfortunately this website host has decided to post a negative image of the cover (this will be addressed ASAP).


A poem is included in each of the recently published anthologies, 'Spindrift' published by NVP, and 'Highland Lights' published by For the Right Reasons.
