A pamphlet of Andy’s poetry entitled, Breath of Dragons, is now available from Indigo Dreams Publishing.
Six poems included in a new anthology
Andy is delighted to have six poems included in a new anthology of writings from the Highlands. The anthology, Words in the Landscape is an exceptionally attractive book put together by the poet and photographer, Gerry Cambridge. Gerry is the editor of the well-known trans-atlantic poetry magazine,‘The Dark Horse’. Words in the Landscape was a joint writing project by the Abriachan Forest Trust and Moniack Mhor, involving many writers writing in different genres. The poems written by Andy and included in the anthology are: ‘The Cold Declining Sun,’ ‘Winter Woods,’ an early version of ‘This Land,’ ‘The Forest’s Prayer,’ ‘Red Sentinel’ and ‘The Highland Cottage.’ There is expected to be a party to launch this publication, at the public library in Drumnadrochit, early in 2015.
